I directly went home to get the camera after I drive by this car - normally I take all pictures with regular your daddy's Nokia cellphone. It mostly works well enough for my taste & visual expectation. We are here for registration - not for fancy shoots - Since it was parked very close where I live, I wanted to get the camera. I felt very special cause car was very special for sure.

Very cool car and you have no idea what it is. IT is not happening all the time.

I believe - somehow this car has some kind of special protection, charm or magic...and it put a blockade to my cameras. I took several shots with 2 different devices but results were the worst of my entire collection. Sorry for terrible shooting.

Rambler again.

This is second AMC (American Motors Company) car at eski ve park etmis - 1st one was Rambler as well - Rebel Cross Country Station...Rambler was flagship model of AMC until they start muscle car production at late 60s - under Javelin and AMX series. AMC also puschased Jeep brand - Renault became a partner at early 80s and finally Chrysler bought them with all their assets.

This one is custom made and much cooler than any original Rambler American. Window height is shortened - fender size is increased - nice tires and bumpers etc. The machine under the hood is changed as well. You can ramp up with any car.

Total hell ride guaranteed.

If Fukuyama were interested in cars as much as global politics and if he were hanging out around the industrial zone of car mechanics (Sanayi), he could have expanded his 1989 essay “The End of History” by including an industrial comment about classical cars.

Unaware of "the end of history" debate, most collectors of old parked car photos are taking pictures of the cars they come across on a part time basis (without discriminating them as clean or dirty) and they harbinger the end of the survivors of the analogue era. This action is significantly different from collecting albums or comic books as you don’t know what to find where. A free and random street museum…

Eski ve Parketmiş (Old and Parked) is contributing to the parked car literature by its own archive containing photos from Istanbul streets and the local industrial zone of car mechanics as its likes around the world.
